PRS Water Damage Preclean

PRS Water Damage Preclean bottleInitial Treatment for Water Damage Utilizes Live Beneficial Bacteria to Destroy Organic Soils and Odors

PRS Water Damage Preclean is an advanced, biologically-based initial treatment for water damage claims, and is especially effective for cleaning black water. PRS Water Damage Preclean utilizes “good” bacteria in a unique cleaning formula specifically engineered for water damage restoration. Hundreds of billions of live bacteria and spores rapidly digest the soil load, including fecal matter, urine and odors, and convert them into water and carbon dioxide. PRS Water Damage Preclean is also effective for removing heavy concentrations of soils and odors at trauma scenes or from pet urine.

Timely and Productive Results

Bio-based PRS Water Damage Preclean is formulated to help water damage restoration professionals achieve timely and productive results. PRS Water Damage Preclean goes to work the moment you apply it, and keeps working until all soils are digested or water removal limits bioremediation activity.

PRS Water Damage Preclean eliminates the worst odors from water and heavy black water damage shortly after application. Conventional odor control methods and products are not required. In the event of a major catastrophe, applying PRS Water Damage Preclean initially provides a way to begin the soil removal and odor control process even before the first cleanup crew is on-site. Non-PRS chemistry should not be introduced while PRS Water Damage products are at work.

Recommended Procedures for Water Damage

PRS Water Damage Preclean is step 1 of a 3-step green, bio-based remediation process. The first fully trained staff on-site should apply PRS Water Damage Preclean to the contaminated area as indicated in the recommended procedures for water damage. Product quantities required may vary based on temperature and soil load. Area must remain visibly wet for 10-20 minutes for complete odor control. Soil degradation begins after 10-20 minutes. The longer the area has wet contact time, the greater the soil degradation and the greater the penetration.

Ambient temperature must be between 50°F and 122˚F. Performance is best between room temperature and 104˚F. Ensure that the area is not contaminated with disinfectant, chlorine or oxidizing agents, which might de-activate the PRS biological process. Shake well before using. Do not use below 50°F.

Standing Black Water/Heavy Load

Apply 2 gallons PRS Preclean per 400 ft² per one-foot depth. (1-gallon/1,500 gallons of black water).

Standing Black Water/Moderate Load

Apply 1 gallon PRS Preclean per 400 ft² per one-foot depth (1 gallon/3,000 gallons of black water).

Dried or Moist Load

Dilute 1 gallon PRS Preclean with at least 1 gallon of water. For example, fill a 2 gallon pump up sprayer with 1 gallon PRS Preclean and 1 gallon of water. Apply until the contained area is visibly wet. Reapply as required to maintain visible wetness. Depending on the surface and drying conditions, a 2 gallon pump-up sprayer can cover up to 1,000 ft². Use any standing water or existing moisture as part or all of your dilution calculations.

Perform physical cleanup per IICRC S-500 guidelines. Extract residual, and remove contents, carpets, etc. depending on category of contamination. Clean all surfaces and then apply PRS Water Damage Post Clean based on instructions. Start your drying process as soon as possible.
