PRS Water Damage Post Clean is an innovative, biologically-based post treatment for water damage claims that is especially effective for cleaning black water. Recommended Procedures for Water Damage
PRS Water Damage Post Clean is step 2 of a 3-step green, bio-based remediation process. Use PRS Water Damage PreClean in step 1 for optimum cleaning results.
Apply the product liberally over the entire affected area either manually or by spray applicator. The amount of PRS Water Damage Post Clean will vary based upon soil load and odors. Sufficient coverage and moisture is required for most effective cleaning. Apply this product as soon as the removal and cleaning process is complete. Use the existing moisture from your cleaning process to allow for the biological activity. Maximize the contact time the solution has with the soil load prior to completing the drying process.
Ensure that the area is not contaminated with disinfectant, chlorine or oxidizing agents, which might de-activate the PRS biological process. Click to download recommended procedures for water damage.
Shake well before using. Do not use below 50°F.
Dilutions
Dilute 1 gallon of PRS Post Clean with at least 1 gallon of water. For example, fill a 2 gallon pump up sprayer with 1 gallon of product to at least 1 gallon of water. Thoroughly wet all previously contaminated areas with the diluted PRS Post Clean solution at a rate of 1 gallon to 500 ft². Ideally, the treated area should remain visibly wet for at least one hour in order to allow greatest penetration and digestion of any organic load missed during the physical cleaning stage, including load not accessible to conventional restoration methods (inside cinder blocks, sill plates, etc.).
Roughly 48 hours later, when the drying process is complete, or near complete, and drying equipment is being picked up, apply Enviro Care® Neutral Disinfectant (follow label instruction) using pump up sprayer. Wet all surfaces for 10 minutes contact time to ensure complete disinfection.
