Disaster restoration and mold remediation projects can release large quantities of particles, bacteria, mold and fungal spores and odors into the air, especially during and following the use of high-speed air movers to dry wet floors, carpets, furnishings and other surfaces. These indoor air pollutants can affect the health and comfort of both occupants and workers, and can require extensive final cleanup.

Abatement Technologies offers users the choice of PREDATOR® Air Scrubber models, which feature ultra-tough polymer cabinets, and HEPA-AIRE® models, which have high-quality stainless steel or anodized aluminum cabinets. All Abatement Technologies Scrubber models are equipped with multiple pre-filters for removal of visible airborne particles such as sawdust, drywall dust, and concrete dust, and a true final-stage HEPA filter to capture microscopic particles and microbes such as bacteria and fungal spores. Each and every HEPA filter is individually tested and certified to ensure that it provides 99.97% or higher capture efficiency for 0.3 micron particles.

VAPOR-LOCK® Carbon Absorption Filters Capture Odors

Optional VAPOR-LOCK high-capacity carbon absorption filters are also available for all PREDATOR and HEPA-AIRE Scrubber models. VAPOR-LOCK filters effectively capture many common organic odors released from chemicals, paints, stains and decomposition. Special blended VAPOR-LOCK filters are also available for more difficult to remove odors such as those from ammonia compounds or formaldehyde.
