Vaportek’s patented odor-control products provide a safe and effective way for restoration contractors to control odors created during water, flood and fire disasters. The Vaportek system utilizes proprietary compounds of select natural oils that are hermetically sealed into specially formulated membranes. The membranes permit oils to breathe through their surfaces allowing a “dry vapor” to be diffused into the air. Molecules of the “dry vapor” react with the odor-causing molecules and knock them out permanently. Vaportek’s “dry vapor” technology is even able to penetrate porous substances such as wallboard, wood, carpeting, cement, insulation and other surfaces.
