More True Airflow Saves Time and MoneyAbatement HEPA-AIRE negative air machines are engineered to provide superior airflow output and deliver more “bang for your buck” than machines advertised as ‘2,000 cfm free air’ products, but in actuality produce a lot less. Airflow ratings are based on actual testing of the units with all filters in place and verified by independent airflow testing companies. |
|
The use of powerful high-efficiency motors, precisely matched custom blowers and sound engineering-principles enables these units to maintain superior output throughout the filter loading cycle.
User benefits from this enhanced performance include:
The main purpose of using negative air machines on an asbestos abatement job is to contain harmful asbestos fibers within the work zone. A machine that exhausts contaminants becomes part of the problem for the facility owner, the consultant and the contractor rather than part of the solution.
For this reason, HEPA-AIRE negative air machines are designed and built to provide true HEPA performance. Cabinets are constructed using aircraft-type solid rivet fasteners to ensure strong, leak-proof seams. Critical cabinet seams are sealed with heavy-duty, closed-cell neoprene gaskets and/or silicone, to prevent contaminated air from bypassing the HEPA and getting into the clean air exhaust. HEPA filters are individually tested and certified at rated airflow, which means that HEPA filters for 2000 series units are tested at 2,000 cfm.
Equipment downtime and costly repairs can quickly surpass any price savings for cheaper products. Abatement HEPA-AIRE machines are "over-engineered" to withstand on-the-job use and abuse, and provide many years of reliable and virtually trouble-free operation.
HEPA-AIRE machines are also designed for easy servicing in the unlikely event of a breakdown. Modular control panels, clearly marked wiring and comprehensive operating manuals help to minimize downtime and keep your machines running and on the job. And, each unit is subjected to a complete series of QC inspections before it is packaged and shipped to our customers.
OSHA (U.S.) and CSA (Canada) safety standards require testing of electrical devices used for general industry or construction by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), in accordance with applicable UL standards. Abatement HEPA-AIRE negative air machines are the only products of this type that meet these requirements. All models have been tested and certified by Intertek Testing Laboratories, a NRTL, and each unit sold has an ETL certification label verifying that the machine meets applicable UL/CSA requirements.
