Highly Portable 
Exceptional Portability
HEPA-AIRE PPV's are the most portable, lightweight and
maneuverable high-performance units available. Upright, multiple-module
designs with 85% of the weight distributed directly over the rear
pivot axle and built-in transport dolly provide easy, one-person
transport to and around the job site.
Narrow profiles allow HEPA-AIRE vacuums to fit through and into
spaces that are inaccessible to other units. Large rear wheels
feature soft, non-marking smooth rubber tires. Front casters swivel
360 degrees, so the operator can turn the unit "on a dime" in
tight spaces. Built-in stair climber carts with non-marking stair
belts on all units facilitate transport up or down the stairs fully
assembled, or with one or more of the lightweight upper modules detached.
Powerful Performance with Twice the Vacuum Power
 Abatement's exclusive AT Gold high-performance, backward-curved
blowers and perfectly matched high-efficiency motors provide up to
twice the vacuum power of other systems. This added power pulls contaminants
out of the ductwork even when filters load, and extends the useful
life of the filters. Manufactured from a high-strength aluminum alloy
and then chemically anodized, these custom-engineered blowers will
not fatigue and break apart over time, as can happen with molded
plastic blowers.
Effective Filtration Reduces Operating Costs
The patented, multi-stage filtration system is designed to minimize
replacement filter costs and airflow restrictions, and maximize filtration
efficiency and dirt holding capacity. Closed-cell neoprene gaskets
in critical seams and an interlocking module design prevent filter
bypass. HEPA-AIRE PPV’s are equipped with three stages of filtration:
- Stage One is a cleanable/reusable filter to capture larger particles
and extend the life of the replaceable filters.
- Stage Two is a high-efficiency deep pleated bag filter to capture
more than 99% of remaining visible particles (10+ microns).
- Stage Three is a true 99.97% or 99.99% metal-frame, CDC-compliant
HEPA filter, individually tested and certified to verify that
it meets IEST-RP-CC001.3 overall efficiency requirements, to ensure
that only ultra-clean air is exhausted back into the home or
building.
Innovative Patented Technology
Abatement Technologies engineers developed the first HEPA-AIRE
Portable Power Vacuum's in the late 1980s to provide duct cleaning
professionals with a more efficient alternative to labor-intensive
manual methods, expensive truck-mounted systems and other antiquated
means. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued five patents
covering the unique HEPA-AIRE PPV design features, and the HEPA-AIRE
source removal duct cleaning method.

virtually maintenance-free operation. Many of the units purchased
more than 10 years ago are still in daily operation, some with 10,000
to 12,000 hours or more of use.
The vacuums are built in our state-of-the-art factory on the most
advanced CAD/CAM equipment available, using over-engineered structural
components and high-quality materials. Modular control panels are
removable with a single plug connection for inspection or fast maintenance.
Each system must pass a comprehensive 64-point QC inspection and
testing procedure, and is covered by the industry's most comprehensive,
five-year limited warranty.
